A Jewel is the common name for a neural hardware needle that is inserted between a person’s eyes. It houses the unique neurographic key that is used to pair the host with their BOB. In the Wavyverse, a Jewel is symbolically represented as a totem of one’s self, through which a person may return to their conflux and reassert control of their own nervous system. When active, a jewel shimmers. But once a person terminates their BOB contract or after the Jewel is physically removed, it turns a flat color, confirming a host’s unpairing with their BOB.
