Soda Plains is the producer and DJ Alexis Chan. With his roots in club music, Soda Plains’s sonic output moves seamlessly between genres, conjuring a multifaceted language of its own. Following a percussion-heavy turn on PAN’s 12" club series, his latest EP, Living with Elvis, lingers on this territory while balancing moments of harmonic confession with increasingly autobiographical narratives. Having grown up in Hong Kong, Chan is now based between London and Berlin, a circuit that can be detected in his work.
