Aïsha Devi

Aïsha Devi is an artist, singer and composer based in Barcelona, Spain. Born in Switzerland with Nepali Indigenous heritage, her transcultural identity guides her creative process. Devi is the co-founder of the music label Danse Noire and has released multiple albums alongside her artistic practice. She has collaborated with artists including Tino Sehgal and Elie Autin and has performed internationally with Tianzhuo Chen’s Asian Dope Boys at the Barbican, London; Pioneer Works, New York, and The Broad, Los Angeles. In addition, she has performed at festivals including Primavera, Barcelona; CTM, Berlin; Roskilde Festival, Denmark; Manchester International Festival, Manchester, and the Wiener Festwochen, Vienna, amongst others.
