Carly Whitefield

Meet Carly Whitefield, Head of Programme at LAS, leading the development and delivery of exhibitions, commissions and public programmes.

Carly Whitefield is Head of Programme at LAS Art Foundation and a curator specialising in time-based media. As part of LAS's Sensing Quantum programme, she developed large-scale commissioned installations with Laure Prouvost and Pierre Huyghe, and co-organised the Sensing Quantum Symposium. She is currently editing a publication exploring quantum physics and emerging quantum technologies through artistic, philosophical, scientific and policy perspectives.

Laure Prouvost’s We Felt A Star Dying at the Grand Palais in Paris. A monumental, cloud-like installation made of delicate white mesh floats beneath the historic glass roof, unfolding in organic forms that evoke movement, cosmic matter and imagination.
