Pollinator Pathmaker: Late Summer Gathering

Tati au Miel’s newly commissioned sound piece Tending was developed in response to Alexandra Daisy Ginsberg's Pollinator Pathmaker. The site-specific composition explores the tension between the living artwork growing outside the Museum für Naturkunde Berlin and the extensive insect collection housed within. For au Miel, the piece becomes a threshold between the dead and the living. Crafted from sound samples the artist recorded across the world, the piece opens sonic portals into different places and temporalities.

"Tati au Miel" is the alias of Montréal-born and raised artist of Haitian descent, Tania Daniel. Their practice draws from improvisation and collaboration as crucial entry points into their worlds of sound, performance and installation. Through each manifestation of their work, they aspire to shape intimate experiences engaging with somatic, frequency and metaphysical perspectives. In dialogue with the lineages of musique concrète, experimentation and Haitian spiralism, their work unfolds as an ever-evolving proposition of perception and encounter.
Recent releases include Tati au Miel (Deluxe Edition), 2025, and Carousel EP, 2023, under the labels PTP, New York, and Halcyon Veil, Texas. They composed the score for Bhenji Ra’s film Biraddali, Dancing on the Horizon, a co-commission by Auto Italia, London, and Western Front, Vancouver.
