Wheelchairs
The entrance to the building has a small step, for which a ramp is available at reception. Visitors in wheelchairs can ask the staff stationed at the entrance for assistance. The installation is located on the second floor of the building and can be reached by all visitors via the elevator.

For assistance and orientation, there are signs in the rooms and support from the visitor service team on site.

Elevators
There is one elevator providing access to the installation level from the ground floor. The elevator is suitable for wheelchairs and strollers and is situated toward the back of the ground floor.

Escalator
There are no functioning escalators. We kindly request that you use the elevator and stairs when entering and leaving the facility.

Restrooms
CANK is equipped with a wheelchair-accessible restroom, which is located close to the elevator on the same floor as the installation.

Seating
Seating is available in multiple areas within the installation. If you’d like to take breaks while exploring, feel free to use the museum chairs available throughout the floor.

Service Animals
Service dogs are welcome, but other animals are not permitted inside the installation.

The installation is located on the second floor of the building. You are free to move around the room and explore the various elements. Please note that there are video installations, sounds and changing lights, including flashing lights and strobe lighting. Some areas may be a little dark.

On one side of the room, there are two different video works shown on an LED screen. Opposite is a pyramid that acts as seating area. Wheelchair users can position themselves next to the object and watch the video works.

For those who prefer not to sit in the seating area on the pyramid – which requires climbing a few steps – there are alternative seating options nearby or available from our team on site.

Next to the pyramid and the screen, a light and sound installation extends across most of the room.

Separated from this area on the other side of the room is an area dedicated to events, where music, live performances and other events take place. A video is also projected onto the wall there, and the sound can be heard through headphones. Further details are available on the LAS website or from the team on site.

Please note that there is no natural light in the building. The installation uses changing, artificial lighting and strobe lighting in some moments. Unfortunately, we do not offer audio descriptions of the visual elements of the installation.

The videos displayed in the installation have subtitles in German and English. Unfortunately, we do not offer closed captioning for the sound elements in the installation or sign language interpretation during events.

To prepare for your visit, you can use two documents. The social narrative contains photographs and short descriptions of what to expect. Our sensory map shows you where to find areas that are likely quieter and less crowded. (coming soon)

Fidgets and earplugs are available at the ticket desk.

Is there specific safety information for visiting the installation?
Please be aware that the installations and events feature strobe light and might contain strong language and nudity. Additionally, some areas of the building may be dimly lit, and lighting conditions can change.

Where can I buy tickets?
Please note that we sell tickets online or on site via QR-Code. We ask you to purchase your tickets in advance on our website (https://www.las-art.foundation/visit).
Please check the selected date and number of tickets in the shopping cart before completing the ticket purchase. It is not possible to change or cancel tickets.
If you are unable to book tickets in advance, you can purchase tickets online on site via a QR code. Our visitor service team will be happy to assist you.
Cash payment for tickets on site is not possible.

What is the regular ticket price?
The price for a regular exhibition ticket is €8 (including all taxes and fees). Reduced tickets cost €5.

A group ticket costs €25 and is valid for 5 people. It can also be purchased online in advance.

Prices for events may vary.

Who is entitled to a reduced ticket?
Reduced tickets for the installation are available for students aged 18 years and over (free entry for visitors under 18), apprentices, retirees (65+), people with disabilities, Berlin-based artists and berlinpass holders upon presentation of relevant identification.

Students aged 18 years and over must present their student card, trainees their certificate of training. If you are a person with disabilities, please provide a ‘Schwerbehinderteausweis B’ or an international equivalent. Berlin-based artists should show their KSK (Künstlersozialkasse) membership card and holders of the berlinpass are kindly asked to present the relevant document. Proof will be checked at the entrance.

Who gets free admission?
Free admission is available to visitors under the age of 18, press card holders, ICOM members and persons accompanying ‘Schwerbehindertenausweis B’(or international equivalents) holders as well as neighbors with appropriate proof (ID or passport with a current address, or a ‘Meldebescheinigung’).

*Residents of the following addresses receive free admission to the installation via a neighborhood ticket: Karl-Marx-Straße (from Flughafenstraße to Kienitzer Straße), Flughafenstraße, Isarstraße, Reuterstraße, Mainzer Straße (from Flughafenstraße to Werbellinstraße), Boddinstraße, Neckarstraße, Rollbergstraße, Am Sudhaus, Hermannstraße (from Flughafenstraße to Werbellinstraße), Anzengruberstraße, Erkstraße, Donaustraße (from Fuldastraße to Ganghoferstraße), Ganghoferstraße, Schönstedtstraße, Morusstraße (from Rollbergstraße to Kienitzer Straße), Briesestraße, Kienitzer Straße, Richardstraße (from Ganghoferstraße to Berthelsdorfer Straße), Kirchgasse, Innstraße, Bornsdorfer Straße, and Werbellinstraße.

How can I arrange tickets for large groups?
You can purchase tickets for up to 20 people online in advance on our website. For groups of 21 or larger, please email us at visit@las-art.foundation to arrange.

A group ticket costs €25 and is valid for 5 people. Please buy it online before your visit.

Can I cancel or exchange my ticket? Can I pass my ticket on to someone else?
Kindly note that your ticket cannot be cancelled or changed. As the tickets are not personalised, you can pass them on to someone else. Please note that in cases of reduced or free tickets, relevant identification must be presented at the door.

Why can’t I select a certain day?
If you are not able to select dates online, those options are already fully booked.

Which payment methods will be accepted?
Tickets can only be purchased online via credit card (Mastercard, Visa), debit card and PayPal. There is no option to pay cash.

How do I present my ticket?
Online tickets can be presented in digital or printed form. Please present your ticket at the entrance.

Will tickets be refunded in case LAS has to close the installation?
In case of the closing of the installation, the full ticket price will be refunded. Further expenses or damages incurred by the visitor will not be reimbursed. In the event of the closing of the installation due to force majeure (natural disasters, strikes, etc.), there is generally no entitlement to a refund of the ticket price.

I can’t find my ticket anymore. What do I do now?
It is possible to have the ticket resent to you. Please click on the link sent by us during the ordering process and select the “Resend” option in the ticket store.

What language options are available for the installation?
The audio for the videos is in English and French. Subtitles are available in German and English.

Where can I find more information on the artwork and the live event series?
Information on Christelle Oyiri’s installation is available in English and German on our website and via a QR code on site. The full live programme of CEL with information on all artists, speakers and formats is available in English and German on our website and via a QR code on site.

How much time should I allow for my visit?
We recommend scheduling 30 minutes for your visit to the installation.

Is the installation suitable for small children?
We welcome children of all ages to visit the installation. However, children under 12 are recommended to be accompanied by an adult.

Do you offer guided tours?
Regular tours are not offered. Information about curator-led tours will be provided in advance on our website and through our social media channels.

What languages does the on-site staff speak?
The on-site staff speaks German and English.

Are there cloakrooms or lockers?
There is no cloakroom or lockers on site. Please note that our Visitor Service can’t store any luggage due to legal reasons.

Is there food or drink offered for purchase on site?
There are no food or drink options available for purchase on site. However, there are many cafés and restaurants nearby.

Is food or drink allowed in the installation?
Food or drink is not allowed in the space.

Is it permitted to take dogs inside the installation space?
Dogs are not permitted inside the space. The only exceptions are guide dogs.

How can I get to the installation space CANK Berlin?
CANK Berlin can be reached by public transport (U7, S41, S42, or S45, S46, S47, or bus 166, M43, M41, and N7).

Accessible public transportation options are available.

S-Bahn
The nearest S-Bahn station is S Neukölln. There are connections to the lines S41, S42, S45, S46, and S47. The station is wheelchair accessible. From there, you can continue your journey by taking the subway or walking for 20 minutes.

Subway
The nearest subway stations are Rathaus Neukölln and Karl-Marx-Straße (Line U7). Both stations are wheelchair-accessible.

Bus
Bus lines 166, M43 and N7 are stopping at U Rathaus Neukölln/Alfred-Scholz-Platz and are across the street to CANKs location. The M41 bus line stops at the Erkstraße station, which is a 4-minute walk away.

Please verify in advance if these buses are wheelchair accessible.

For detailed route planning and up-to-date information on accessible public transport, we recommend checking the BVG website or the BVG app. Consider also using BVG Muva. It is a service provided by the Berlin Transport Authority (BVG) that enables people with limited mobility to book and use accessible travel.

By car
Limited parking spaces are available for visitors with disabilities.

There is a barrier-free parking lot opposite the event building at Anzengruberstraße 1, 12043.

Paid parking garages are located at Rollbergstraße 10-18, 12053 (Park One Parkhaus Rollbergstraße) and Karl-Marx-Straße 66, 12043 (Parkdeck Neukölln Arcaden).

As spaces are limited, kindly inform our team at the ticket desk if you plan to park on site. While we will do our best to accommodate you, availability cannot be guaranteed at all times. If no parking is available, we appreciate your understanding in using alternative parking options nearby.

Am I allowed to film or take photos in the installation?
Please note that taking photos, videos and audio recordings in the installation is permitted for private and non-commercial use only.
